We are a a Christian Ministry that helps the most children in Uganda, who have been orphaned, and most are found living on the streets. These children have no one to provide food and shelter, much less clothing. We are located in Wabigalo, Mityana District, Uganda and currently serve more than 96 children from ages 1 yr to 17 yrs of age.

Some days, the director wakes up and finds a child, literally, on the door step with a note saying they are an orphan and need food and shelter. We do not have room or food enough for all the children who come to our door. Over the past few months we have had to turn away 200 children, because there is not food enough.

Our Vision:

To improve the lives of the most vulnerable children. To give these children a solid foundation in God's word, by teaching them the Gospel of Christ and to provide an education, so they may find employment as they reach adulthood.

Our Mission:

To partner with Christians around the world to help make this vision a reality, in providing shelter, food, clothing, medical treatment, as well, as education to children who have no one to provide for them. We seek to provide an example of Christian love and role models.

Ministry Needs:

Our greatest need at this time is financial partners who will help us feed and shelter the children we have with us. We depend solely up donations to provide even the smallest amounts There are days that the children have no food, with only sugar water to satisfy the hunger, some days only water. Other days they get ½ cup of porridge twice a day. This is no where near the nutrition that growing children need, but it is often all we can afford. In our budget we would like to include vegetables, fruits, and proteins, because this is what growing children need.

As of today, we have 96 children living at the orphanage, with an ideal monthly budget of $4000. That budget would provide food, shelter, electricity, water, with money for school supplies, and minor medical supplies or medications. To provide only food and shelter we need $110 per day or approximately $3410 per month (given 31 days per month). We also have a great need for prayer partners, who would pray for KWCM each day. Praying the prayer of agreement, Matthew 18:19, for the prayer requests and daily needs of the ministry.
